Wait... TED doesn't pay you? Isn't there a fair amount of money flowing adjacent to all those events?

Nicely capsulized, Julia. And, I agree with these commenters--so great to see you again on a regular basis, and I am incredulous that TED doesn't pay. That's ridiculous and extremely disappointing to hear. Have you asked for a raise lately?

Julia, These Substack videos really open up a whole new dimension of your talent. I hope that CBS Sunday Morning doesn't neglect to put you in rotation with Jim Gaffigan and David Sedaris. I was so impressed with you memorizing two hour monologues, there's your sketch talent, but these Substack videos! No notes, direct eye contact with the camera, riffing hilariously. You've made me grateful for Elon Musk?!

Oh man, I am so glad I found you on here. I LOVE you. Everyone needs a good laugh and you are hitting all the right notes for me. I live on Vancouver Island. Enjoy your trip to Vancouver!

And I too can't believe TED doesn't pay you. Ugh. Ask if your male counterparts get paid! That would be funny/not funny if they did. Oh the irony of it all. A big organization like TED not paying the people that actually make TED so great. Bah humbug.

Space "junk." Very funny. Guess you heard that Elon's recent "rocket" launch made a huge mess of the areas surrounding his pad. Unexpected sand and soil debris were scattered for six-miles. There was a fire and a protected wetland was damaged. The rocket later exploded not having reached the expectant goal. ED?
